Scale-up of DNA /RNA synthesis for therapeutic and diagnostic products is relatively new and unknown in regards to system specifications and design. Requirements of faster cycle times, reduced reagent consumption, synthesis scales, column design, GMP and validation issues all need to be considered. At GTI, we realize that trying to design a synthesizer with all the "bells and whistles" to satisfy everyone is unrealistic for large scale synthesis. Our approach is to work with our clients to produce an instrument that considers your chemistry, facility, personnel and cost requirements. We have developed an array of system components and control software allowing selection of the exact components to meet individual requirements and preferences.
